Project Management

"I don’t pity any man who does hard work worth doing. I admire him. I pity the creature who does not work, at whichever end of the social scale he may regard himself as being."
Theodore Rosevelt
Here you can find a detailed look at my previous project management experience, focusing on my role as Co-Project Manager for the 'Willmott Dixon Coaching Programme.
'Willmott Dixon Coaching Programme' in association with the University of Derby
Co Project Manager
2016
During my first year studying at the University of Derby, an opportunity was presented to us to join a programme whereby construction giants Willmott Dixon wanted to sponsor students to coach 2 junior football teams using the University's facilities.

The programme lasted 8 weeks, and consisted of 6 football coaching sessions, a team building experience and a final match played between the 2 teams for the Willmott Dixon trophy.

Me and a fellow student were tasked with running the whole programme and managing 7 other students who assisted with the practical elements of the 8 weeks.

We also managed to set up a tour of Derby County's iPro Stadium, a day enjoyed by all. It was a great chance for the players to experience something many don't and aided with the team bonding element of the coaching programme
