ABOUT ME...

I grew up in a small, rural, Norfolk village called Tharston, just south of Norwich. Norfolk has been my home ever since I was born, and I've grown up here with my Mum Stephanie, a hairdresser, my Dad Neil, former Norwich City Football Club's 1st team manager & current 'Loan Player Manager', and my Sister Holly, who works in the costume department on the set of films, both for the small and large screen.

The relaxed Norfolk lifestyle made it easy for me to get involved in sports from a very early age, something which I feel has shaped me as a person today.

From the age of 8 I joined my first structured football team, Mulbarton Wanderers U'9s, winning the Norfolk Hunter's League title in my first season, finishing top goalscorer in the league. It was from here that sport just grew and grew for me. At the age of 11 I left Mulbarton Wanderers to join Hempnall FC, a team more local to me. It was a tough decision to leave a team that had been so good to me and where I was enjoying my football, but once the decision was indeed made I never looked back, playing for Hempnall until the age of 18 until I had to leave for University at the start of the coming season.

Not long after competitive sport began in my life, I had joined my second sporting team, Hethersett & Tas Valley Cricket Club at the age of 9. At the time I was one of only 6 junior players at the whole club, but played my way through the age groups, making my adult debut at the tender age at 13. Having been given the time and effort by my seniors, I wanted to give back so started coaching the junior teams myself when I turned 17, alongside captaining the adult 3rd XI and Sunday XI on occasion to allow these youngsters to come through. Currently I play for the 2nd XI and Sunday 1st XI.

I gained my first taste of employment with the Norwich City Community Sports Foundation, as a community sports coach & PDC coach, a role to which I still hold today. Alongside this I had spells working for Delia's Canary Catering, BREAK charity shop and the National Citizens Service.

Having left education in Norfolk, I relocated to Derbyshire in September 2015 to enroll on the University of Derby's Sport Management Degree, of which much more infomation, and sample work is available throughout the rest of my website.
